IMPORTANT...Florida is the only state currently requiring a 60 hour course for licensure. This course is not approved for the 60 hour requirement, it should be considered supplemental to an approved course. You will NOT receive a certificate of completion from this course.

What are the questions on the Florida insurance exam like? Do you have any sample insurance test questions?

    The questions in our insurance exam simulator are VERY representative of the questions on the Florida state licensing exam. Here are a couple examples of what you can expect:

Florida Property & Casualty Exam Questions

A GCL policy has a limit of $200,000. To date, $25,000 has been paid in attorney fees on a pending claim. How much of the policy limit remains for this claim?

  1. $175,000
  2. $210,000
  3. $225,000

Florida Life & Health Exam Questions

Chad has a $40,000 policy with cash values of $5,000 with a $1,000 outstanding loan. Chad has a past due premium payment of $500. If he chooses the cash surrender value option, what will he receive?

  1. $5,000
  2. $40,000
  3. $4,000
  4. $3,500

Florida Insurance Regulations

In Florida, a lapsed policy may be reinstated:

  1. within 1 year of policy lapse
  2. up to 90 days after the grace period expires
  3. never
  4. within 3 years of policy lapse

Answer: C

Costs of legal defense are paid in addition to the policy limits.

Answer: D

Chad would receive the cash value minus the balance of the outstanding loan and overdue premium. Chad would also be responsible for any accrued interest on the loan, but $3,500 is the best available answer.

If a policy lapses, Florida insurance law allows the policy owner may apply to have the policy reinstated. The insured must provide evidence of insurability; and pay past-due premiums, any outstanding policy loans, and interest on the outstanding loan and past-due premiums. Reinstatement must be applied for within 3 years.
